White-tailed tropicbird (Phaethon lepturus) on Ile de Gabriel. I can really recommend to take the sailingtrip to this island as you get to see birds which are hard to see from mainland. I saw white-tailed and red-tailed tropicbird, wedge-tailed shearwater, lesser noddy, masked booby and sooty tern during this trip. We also saw a lot of flying fishes, really a great sight.

We had 7 of the endemics along this trail but four of them were only seen once, the cuckoshrike, Mauritius kestrel, Mauritius bulbul and Mauritius fody. We also saw pink pigeon, a lot of grey white-eye and a few Mauritius parakeet.
